Lana Griffith, APRN, FNP-BC
Lana Griffith has worked in healthcare as a nurse for over 30 years! She completed her Masters of Science degree in Nursing from the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston in 2001 and has worked as a Family Nurse Practitioner in Family Practice and Internal Medicine since. She has owned Griffith Family Health since 2008 and is so excited to expand her practice into Medical Aesthetics in an effort to better serve the people of Orange and surrounding areas! Mrs. Griffith has also served as a faculty member for the UTMB-Galveston Graduate School of Nursing as a clinical instructor for nurse practitioner students. Mrs. Griffith is credentialed through the American Nurses Credentialing Center as a Certified Family Nurse Practitioner. She is a member of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners as well as the Texas Nurse Practitioners Organization.
While obtaining various levels of her nursing education, Mrs. Griffith was a member of Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing at the undergraduate and graduate levels, Phi Kappa Phi Society International Scholastic Order as well as Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society.
Mrs. Griffith is married to Coach Steve Griffith. They have three children, Morgan, Sydney and Gage. The Griffith family resides in Little Cypress. They enjoy baseball and attend games from t-ball to college and beyond to follow past, present and future baseball legends. The family enjoys watching and supporting all sorts of other high school sports in Orange County and surrounding areas as well.
Jennifer Rives - Certified Laser Professional, Laser Safety Officer
Jennifer Rives is the Spa & Salon manager at Blossom! She began her career in the medical field in 1996 after earning her Medical Laboratory Technician, Associate of Applied Science degree from Lamar University. She began working for Lana Griffith in 2011. They had a vision of bringing a medical spa to Orange and immediately began expanding their education to make that dream a reality.
Jennifer attended Texas Laser Institute and received her state certification as a Laser Hair Removal Technician in 2015. She continued her education through Avante Laser Training Institute where she earned her Professional Laser Hair Removal license. She is excited to offer pain-free laser hair removal, treatment of vascular lesions, pigmented lesions and photo-rejuvenation using the most advanced technology on the market!
Jennifer plans on continuing to grow her knowledge to better serve the community, as well as further her career at Blossom!
Marisa Hanks - Licensed Esthetician
Marisa is a Skincare Professional & Licensed Esthetician
She began her training at Lamar State College-Port Arthur, where she graduated Summa Cum Laude in 2008. She also became licensed with the state of Texas in 2008 and is now on her 13th year in the skincare industry!
Marisa has continued to pursue her passion for helping others feel beautiful through expert skincare with the latest advances in skin technology such as: radiofrequency microneedling, traditional
microneedling, microdermabrasion, anti-aging treatments and advanced exfoliation techniques, which include chemical peels and dermaplaning.
Marisa enjoys educating her clients on the importance of routine skincare and overall self-care. During each custom session, she strives to deliver high quality services in a relaxing environment.
Marisa has been a Little Cypress-Mauriceville resident for 27 years. When away from the spa, she loves
spending time with her husband, two children and two dogs. Together, they enjoy attending community
events and traveling.
Jessica Medellin - Licensed Massage Therapist
Jessica Medellin is the certified licensed Massage Therapist at Blossom Med Spa and Salon.
Jessica was introduced to the healing art of massage in her early childhood as her Grandmother Matilde, was a practicing massage therapist and healer. Receiving massage as a child made such a huge impact on her life that in 2010 she decided to enroll at A Beginning School of Massage in Austin, Texas.
Graduating at the top of her class she has been practicing massage ever since and hasn’t looked back.
Having worked in spa, Eastern and Western medical environments Jessica enjoys bringing all of those experiences into her massage to tailer fit each individuals needs.
She has placed a large part of her practice toward healing the mind/body connection. Believing that when our bodies pain is addressed through massage properly we can change, even eliminate pain patterns.
Along with being trained in the more traditional styles of massage like Swedish Relaxation and Corrective Deep Tissue Massage, Jessica has also been trained in Acupressure for Chronic Headache/Migraine, TMJ and Sinuses, CrossFiber Techniques, Rhythmic Pressure, MyoFascial Release for Low Back, Hips and Shoulders, Aromatherapy using Essential Oils, and Sports Massage.
When Jessica is not practicing massage, you will find her tending to her plants and pets as she loves animals and being outdoors. Traveling, music, reading & writing are her favorite past time’s. Anything that can offer a creative outlet she is going to enjoy!
Sydney Bullard - Licensed Esthetician
Sydney is a Skincare Specialist and Licensed Aesthetician of 4 years. She quickly found her love of medical esthetics and is passionate about combining effective treatments with our relaxing spa environment.
Sydney’s service list includes, relaxation facials, microneedling, deep exfoliating facials such as: microdermabrasion, dermaplaning, and chemical peels, as well as facial waxing, brow tinting, and lash lifting & tinting.
Sydney’s goal is to leave her clients feeling more confident and beautiful than ever. She strives to educate her clients on how to care for their skin everyday the same way she does here at Blossom.
When Sydney is away from the spa she spends her time with friends & family. She enjoys traveling, trying new restaurants, shopping, and reading.
Hannah Simmons - Makeup Artist
Hannah Simmons is the Makeup Artist at Blossom Med Spa and Salon.
You may know her on social media as Makeup By Hannah! She started her career as a Makeup Artist in 2014 and has worked at Merle Norman, Mac Cosmetics, and on 2 short films with Lamar University’s Department of Communication. Hannah has won Orange County’s Best of the Best Makeup Artist 3 times!
